Wuxi Ou'tang Vocational Education Park

Wuxi Ou'tang Vocational Education Park is a comprehensive vocational education park focusing on education, science&research, training, cuture, tourism, ecology, living and business. Located in the park, there are  Wuxi Institute of Commerce, Jiangsu College of Information and Technology, Jiangnan Film and Television Art College, Wuxi Technician College, etc.

Jiangnan University

Reputed as the “Pearl of China’s Light Industry Higher Education”, Jiangnan University is one of China’s national key “211 Project” universities, one of "985" platform universities, and functions directly under China’s Ministry of Education.It consists of 18 schools and 51 undergraduate programs with disciplines including engineering, science, literature, economics, management, law, medicine, agriculture, arts and education.

Changguangxi Wetland Park

The Changguangxi Wetland Park covers an area of about 260 hectares, including a water area of about 80 hectares. The park is one of the ten national urban wetland parks in China.

Turtle-Head Peninsula

Located in the northwest shore of the Taihu Lake, the Turtle-Head Peninsula gets its name for its huge rocks extending into the lake, looking like a turtle raising its head. It is endowed by nature with green hills and clear water. Tourists call it the best part on the Taihu Lake and the best place to enjoy the natural beauty of the Taihu Lake. Mr. Guo Moruo, a well-known poet wrote a poem in praise: The superb view of the Taihu Lake, after all, lies in the Turtle-Head Peninsula.

CCTV Wuxi Movie/TV Base

CCTV Wuxi Movie/TV Base is the first large scaled base for movie and TV shooting and for tourism built in China. Constructed in 1987, it is the nation's first theme park incorporating movie and TV culture and tourism and is also one of the nation's first batch of 5A grade tourist scenic areas. With its unique functionality and charms it has been attracting nearly one hundred movie/TV production units every year to shoot over 1000 movies and TV plays here, while at the same time over 2 million person/time have come here each year as tourists and to explore the secrets of movie production. Thanks to the incessant upgrading of the scene zones and excellent services the popularity has been rising every day and with that, number of production units and tourist coming is steadily rising. In this regard the Base is leading the entire circle of the nation, being the widely acknowledged earliest and most successful movie/TV base in China and is given the title of "Oriental Hollywood".

Xihui Park

Xihui Park is a large-scale comprehensive garden of many cultural relics and comfortable leisure recreations such like The Second Spring in the World, Jichang Garden, Huishan temple and so on. Xihui Park is one of the first national key scenery scenic spot areas-- one of the fourteen core scenic spots of Taihu Lake Scenic Area. It is a key National Park and national AAAA level scenic spot.
 

Wuxi Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot

As national AAAAA tourist attractions, Lingshan is a unique and integrated theme park of Buddhism to show achievements of the Buddha, Sakyamuni.

The scenic spot is composed of many well-designed tourist attractions including the Grand Buddha with 88 meters in height, Nine Dragons Bathing the Baby Buddha---a group of large-sized dynamic musical sculpture, Lingshan Buddhist Palace --- the site of world Buddhist forum, the large-scale bronze carving “The Vanquishing Demons to Sambodhi”and “Five Seal Mandala”.

What’s more, through the combination of sound, light and electricity facilities, a grand musical ceremony ‘Eulogy of Lingshan lucky’ also gives visitors deep impression, which demonstrates adventures of Sakyamuni’s mind of being wise and enlightened.

With powerful inspiration of religious culture, great divergence of historical culture and fine attraction of the scenery of humanities, Lingshan is particular among Chinese theme scenic spots and becomes the important world-famous site for visitors from all over the world to appreciate the Buddhism culture.

Wuxi Huishan Economy Development Zone

Wuxi Huishan Economy Development Zone was founded in July, 2001. In February, 2002, it is approved as provincial economy development district by provincial government. Its overall planning area is 76 km2. The first phase planning area is 36 km2 with 6 700 present population. After 7 years, a new city with administration, economy, culture, science, education, trade, and leisure is established. It has been the bright card for northern Wuxi. With four characteristics of ‘high-end industry, high technology enterprise, high level talent, and high quality residential environment’, Huishan New City will be made as creative city for business. At present time, four parks and two bases have been established. The concentrating effect for investment high land and cost valley will be much more obvious. With the development principle of ‘city first and industry second’, Development District always insist on first-class residential environment as its foundation for flourishing industry. Central Business District, Binhe Residential Community and Traditional Life Block on Yanxin Road have been formed in Huishan New City. Huishan is going to be good residential new city and high technology industry new city.

Xishan Economic Development Zone

Established in May, 1992, Xishan Economic Development Zone was approved to Provincial level by Jiangsu Government in Nov 1993, and upgraded to National level in 2003. Located in the east of Wuxi, the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, Xinshan Economic Development Zone is an important platform for Wuxi’s manufacturing industry and business development. Xishan Economic Development Zone is divided into two parts: the West Park and the East Park. The West Park, which takes the advantage of the radiation effect of Shanghai-Nanjing Express, is designed to be the center for sectors of advanced manufacturing and high-end services; the East Park, also called S-Park, will optimize the opportunity of construction of Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway and development of Xidong Xincheng of Wuxi for developing technology R & D, hi-tech manufacturing, business, entertainment, top quality residence and exhibition hotels.

Wuxi Airport Industrial Park

Situated in the southeast of Wuxi New District, Wuxi Airport Industrial Park is separated with Wuzhong district of Suzhou by the Wangyu River in the southeast and is located in the middle of Shanghai Airport and Nanjing Airport. The park adjoins Hongshan Street in the east and is separated with Wuxi (Taihu) International Science Park by the Grand Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou. The park is closely connected with Wuxi New District in the northwest, the Taihu Ring Expressway and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway in the east, and Meicun village in the north. The Shanghai-Nanjing Railway, Taihu Ring Expressway, Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, 312 National Road, Grand Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou, Wangyu River and Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway in the planning pass through the Park.

Wuxi Yangshan Ecological Tourist Resort

Wuxi Yangshan Ecological Tourist Resort was approved to Provincial level by Jiangsu Government in Aug 2012. Thanks to hot spring resort, peach blossom island and other projects, Yangshan has become an energetic recreational and tourism attraction.

Wuxi Economic Development Zone

Located in Hudai town, Binhu District, Wuxi Economic Development Zone has been under construction since 2002. Till now, the south part, north part and west part have been completed. The park aims to build itself as a distinctive, competitive and sustainable park. Currently, the system of “One Par, One Port, One City and Four Industrial Clusters” has been formed, and comprehensive competitiveness has been remarkably enhanced.

Taihu National Tourist Resort Zone

Located along Taihu, Taihu National Tourist Resort Zone was approved to National level by the state council in Oct, 1992. Taihu National Tourist Resort Zone is characterized by recreation and tourism, bio-pharmaceutical and high-end equipment manufacturing industries. 5A tourist resort----Linshan, is a permanent Buddhist site, and successfully held 2nd and 4th World Buddhist Forum.

Liyuan Hi-tech IDZ

Established in Jun, 1992, Liyuan Hi-tech IDZ was approved to Provincial level by Jiangsu Government in 1993. In Dec, 2001, thanks to the sound development of electronic information industry, Liyuan Hi-tech IDZ became an incubator for IC design enterprises. Till now, more than 10 Japanese and US enterprises have been set up in the park, and well-known domestic and international enterprises have invested in the park.

Wuxi Taihu Mountain & Lake Tourist Resort

Wuxi Taihu Mountain & Lake Tourist Resort was established in Sep, 2009. The park focuses on film making, animation, education and R&D, software and outsourcing service, sensor network, headquarter economy and ecological tourism, aiming to build an internationally influential park.

Wuxi National Hi-tech Industry Development Zone

Wuxi National Hi-tech Industry Development Zone was founded in 1992. The district is an economic engine behind opening-up of Wuxi. It is also a center of science innovation and development transformation. It has six pillar industries -- photovoltaic solar, micro-electronics, auto parts, IOT, new materials and bio-pharmaceutics.

Wuxi New District Integrated Free Trade Zone

Under the approval of the State Council, Wuxi New District Integrated Free Trade Zone, founded in April 2012, was transformed and upgraded from Wuxi Export Processing Zone.

The newly-formed free trade zone covers an area of 3.497 square kilometers, of which 2.385 square kilometer-area (the first phase of its development) was approved and accepted by ten national ministries and committees including athe General Administration of Customs. Currently, the fully-featured free trade zone is a special open area enjoying high level of openness and optimal policies with its Customs-approved businesses ranging from bonded processing, bonded logistics, bonded trade, R&D, inspection and maintenance, international procurement, distribution and delivery, product exhibition to port work etc. For enterprises located in this zone, their imported goods can be registered and enjoy relevant bonded treatments in this zone while the exported ones will be treated as the imported without being imposed valued added tax (VAT). The exemption of VAT and consumption tax also applies to the products manufactured and sold in this zone or planned to export abroad.

Wuxi (Taihu) International Science Park

As approved by the State Council, Wuxi (Taihu) International Science Park is an important part of the Wuxi National High and New Tech Development Zone. It is a key carrier and landmark project for establishing the innovation-oriented Wuxi city. It is also a new international lakeside scientific city based on science and technology, R&D and originality. It is supported by the high and new technology industry as well as matched with ecofallow and commercial services.

S-park

S-park is to be built into an international and innovative new town of technology, ecology and culture, featuring hi-tech products and innovative talents. It will bring up top-ranking industrial cluster from a high starting point.

L-PARK

The park is devoted to be the first-class "Chinese Medicine Valley". L-PARK locates in the east side of the Huiyuan Road, north side of Yanyu Road, west side of Huishan Road, north side of Yanxin Road, which covers an area of 86 hectares, with a total building area of 720 thousand square meters.

Wuxi Huishan software outsourcing park (O-PARK)

Wuxi Huishan software outsourcing park (O-PARK) is “The International Service Outsourcing Demonstration Area in Jiangsu Province”. It covers an overall planning area about 159 hectares and covered area up to 1.4 million square meters. O-PARK focuses on develop six industry bases which include Software Development, Software Outsourcing, Digital Interactive Entertainment, Internet of Things Technology Development and Application, E-Commerce, Technology and Finance. It is a function of R & D incubator, trade, exhibition, business office, and ecological living as one comprehensive service outsourcing agglomeration Park.

Science & Technology Industrial Park for Taiwan Enterprises

Science & Technology Industrial Park for Taiwan Enterprises is the first Taiwan Hi-tech industrial oriented park in Jiangsu Province. The park mainly provides service for electronic information, precision machinery, automobile and its components enterprises.

The Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) Industrial Park

The Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) Industrial Park boasts an area of three square kilometers in Wuxi New District and houses design companies, manufacturing firms, packing and testing facilities, design company incubators and relevant supporting facilities. It covers the whole integrated circuit industry chain.

It aims to realize a seamless connection with the surrounding residential facilities, educational institutions, comprehensive free trade zones and logistics zones, helping form an all-round VLSI area featured by integrated circuit as its core and equipped with fully-fledged living service facilities and high-quality landscape leisure areas.

The industrial park is divided into three main areas. They are:

The IC Industrial Park Service Area, situated on 38.6 hectares, containing design center, business office base, business meeting support platforms, business services and offices, SOHO apartments and supporting dormitories;

The IC Industrial Park Independent R&D Area, covering an area of 22.8 hectares and positioning itself as an industrial base composed of IC incubating enterprises;

The IC Industrial Park Business Supporting Area, featuring a total supporting space of nearly 20,000 square meters and a business service format encompassing business restaurants, 24-hour self-service banks, convenient chain stores, cafes, KTV, drive-in restaurants and business hotels, ready to meet the business demands by enterprises in the area.

Wuxi. Si.Park

Founded in Aug, 1998, Si.Park is the first country-level high-tech business incubation center and the first country-level innovation park for returnees in Wuxi. Si.Park covers an area of 150,000 square meters. It has successively won honors as a "National High-Tech Business Incubation Center" and "National Advanced Incubation Service in the High-Tech Area" conferred by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It was also recognized as an "Advanced National Business Incubation Service Center" at the 15th anniversary of the Touch Plan, "Excellent High-Tech Business Incubator" in Jiangsu province and “Advanced Group of Chemical Engineering in the High-Tech Industry."

Wuxi New District Life Science and Technology Park

Wuxi New District Life Science and Technology Park (China Taihu Life Science and Technology Park, CTL) is consisted of two parts: headquarters with R&D area and industrial area, with 3 square kilometers initial developing area and more than 30 square kilometers regional planning area. It focuses on innovative drug and innovative preparation industry, bio-sensor and medical instrument and appliance industry, giving consideration to development of bio-treatment and healthcare industry as well as new type bio-industry with key biologic species and enzyme as foundation.

Wuxi National Industrial Design Park (D-Park)

Wuxi National Industrial Design Park, as China’s first state level industrial design park, has formed a complete industrial design and R&D structure with a connotation of product design, architecture design, art design, IC design, model design, industrial computer application design, precision components design and automobile industrial equipment design.

China Sensor Network International Innovation Park (Wuxi MEMS Park)

With a planning area of about 4,466.67 acres and an initial construction area of 500,000 square meters, China Sensor Network International Innovation Park (Wuxi MEMS Park) is the first national-level professional sensor network incubator in China.

As one of the key innovation demonstration sites of national sensor network in Wuxi, the innovation park is specialized in promoting the industry cultivation and agglomeration for sensor network technological innovation and has brought in and cultivated 238 different kinds of technology-centered enterprises, all of which have accumulated a registered capital of 3.67 billion yuan. Some leading enterprises in sensor network industry, such as ZTE Intelligent Transportation and Collhigh, have successfully set up their offices in this park, helping to build a number of public technological platforms such as MEMS public technological service platform, EDA platform, and the wireless sensor network public service platform.

Focusing on the sensor network development in China, the innovation park is striving to develop international leading sensor network generic and advanced technologies, build an industrial alliance for sensor network and strengthen industrial agglomeration.

K-park

Wuxi K-park was established in Apr, 2006, and is a high-tech industry incubator for software and outsourcing service, film making, creative design, internet economy, high-end R&S, education.

Wuxi Biopharmaceutical Outsourcing Service Park (Bio-park)

Established in Sep, 2007, Wuxi Biopharmaceutical Outsourcing Service Park (Bio-park) is a provincial specialized industrial park in Wuxi Taihu Lake National Tourist Resort Zone. As per the general plan for Three Valleys and Three Bases in Wuxi, Wuxi Taihu Lake National Tourist Resort Zone, as the important area for developing the Bio-valley in the city, has attracted over 80 companies from biopharmaceutical, health food, medical instrument and service outsourcing industries to basically shape into the industrial chain integrating in manufacture, R&D and outsourcing service. Bio-park is 180 hectares or 2700 mu in area. Now 300 thousand square meters have been developed. The park is designed as Mediterranean style and planed to be built into a new ecological R&D community, which is basically made up by 8 functional blocks, including public service platform, outsourcing service area, administrative service building, hotels and apartments, logistics and trade block, shopping streets, independent office (headquarter base) as well as apartment for experts and overseas students. Its core function is the R&D and industrialization base for new medicine, biotech and medical instrument.

Wuxi Wind Power Technology Park

To promote the accelerated growth of the enterprises in the park and resolve the technological problem in their process of development and production, the administrative and service center of the park has established an all-round public service plat which is expected to offer academic research information, technological certification for products and the transformation of the scientific and technological fruits to the enterprises and which will also help enterprises invite bids for their tough jobs and organize relative technical training. All these will give the enterprises of wind and electronic energy the best services.
